RAISING CURIOUS AND ADAPTABLE LEARNERS

Being adaptable and open to change has helped me pivot with grace. Being vulnerable and sharing my experience has helped me find my purpose and my community.

About Me,

Hey hey! I am Stephanie, former NYC public school teacher turned homeschooler. I am a mother to 3 children, one in upper elementary, a preschooler, and a baby! My goal is to raise curious and adaptable learners. Flexible roots can bend, curve, and grow through change without breaking. That is what I want for my children. This blog “Flexible Roots” is a space for all caregivers seeking ways to support their little learners. As someone who ventured into homeschooling with no past experience or models, the imposter syndrome has been real. As I have researched different homeschooling methods I have often felt more confused and even judged for not doing it a certain way. Flexibility has given me peace of mind. So if you are looking for judgement-free homeschool advice, supplemental resources for your little learners, whether you homeschool or not, I hope you find it here.

I personally love fashion, hair care, cooking, reading, routines, schedules, FLEXIBILITY, growth mindset, affirmations, raising positive, kind, and independent thinkers. My blog post will reflect my diverse interest as it relates to instilling Flexible Roots in our children and developing Flexible Roots in ourselves.
